What baby clothes do I need?

It can be overwhelming for a first-time parent to figure out what they need when it comes to baby clothes.

A general rule of thumb is 0-6 months olds grow really fast. They put on about 30% of their weight within first month and double their weight within first half a year of their life.

When it comes to specific items, you'll need onesies or body suits, a lot of them, at least 1-2 per day. One clean onesie will be awaiting your baby each day after bath, and at least one more - for emergencies. Newborns don't walk or run and barely sweat, but they do burp and poo, and sometimes their clothes do get dirty.

You might also want to invest in some sleeping bags, socks, hats, booties, stroller blankets, cocoons and bibs. And don't forget about the weather! Make sure you have warm clothes for winter and cool clothes for summer.
